PEIRCE MANSION TO HOST HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE ON SUNDAY

FREE REFRESHMENTS, FESTIVE ENTERTAINMENT, AND A VISIT FROM SANTA CLAUS ARE AMONG THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SIOUX CITY MUSEUM & HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION’S HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE AT THE PEIRCE MANSION THIS SUNDAY FROM 1 TO 4 P.M. AT 2901 JACKSON STREET.

THE FREE EVENT WILL FEATURE A MUSICAL PERFORMANCE BY HARPIST MARY WATTS.

THE HISTORIC VICTORIAN-ERA MANSION WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS A WAY OF SAYING “THANK YOU” TO THE COMMUNITY FOR ITS SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

THE PEIRCE MANSION WAS RECENTLY FEATURED ON THE 2023 BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS TOUR OF HOMES AND MANY OF THOSE DECORATIONS WILL BE ON DISPLAY.

THE MANSION WAS BUILT IN 1893 BY LOCAL DEVELOPER JOHN PEIRCE, AND IS LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES.
